My prayers and supportive loving thoughts are with Johns Family at this time. John was a terrific guy always had a smile on his face and always willing to help someone at any time. I used to play different games with John on line along time ago he was always a great sport and very humerous. I know serveral people that knew John through the La Vera food truck and they always had wonderful things to say about John. Blessings and prayers to Johns family.

I knew John as kids growing up in the old neighborhood. It was such a nice surprise when he reached out on Facebook to tell me about the Woodland site and invited me to join. Lots of fond memories were recaptured and shared by other old friends on that site. There are some people you never forget and John was one of them. My deepest sympathy to his loved ones. Thank you for thinking of me John, you will be missed. R.I.P. John until we meet again.

I remember John when I worked at La Vera party center for 15 yrs. And he was such a great guy to be around. I will miss him dearly. My condolences to the family at this difficult time.

My dad; John Verdone was one of the most big hearted people I have ever known in my life. He would give you the shirt off his back, if he could. He made sure everyone he loved was always comfortable (and properly fed). I know he wouldn't want us to be sad. He would want us to celebrate the vibrant life he lived, and share stories of happiness and laughter. He loved his children, Pat, and grandchildren more than words. At times, I am not sure how we will ever be able to carry on in life without him. But I will cherish every memory he shared with me, and he will never know how much that father/daughter dance at my wedding meant to me. I love you dad, I will see you again some day.

Rest in paradise....
